Why a website featuring an obscure band that hasn’t been (very) active in years?

If not for the success of our ReUnIoN gigs in ’96/’97, 2013, and 2017, we wouldn’t have bothered. This activity consisted of several shows with packed houses in Philadelphia and a vinyl (Southern Lord) re-issue of our recordings, along with an ass-kicking DVD and live album of the Union Transfer show, both aptly titled Ruin Killed…

We are also creating new music under the name RUIN… Collective. We consider the project a “collective” because various original members and guests are invited to contribute. 

The ReUnIoN confirmed that our fans remain steadfast in their support. More importantly, it confirms that Ruin is able to excite new listeners and that the band’s efforts are still worthy of attention.
